The \u201cadjustment\u201d period can last from one or two days up to one or two weeks. This is necessary because, in the initial phase of wearing compression stockings, the strong compression pressure may cause discomfort, giving the impression that the stockings are \u201ctoo tight.\u201d<\/p><p>Since the stockings are made from fine, thin yarn, handle them carefully to avoid mechanical damage.
