Compression refers to the mechanical pressure applied externally to a part of the body. In compression products, this pressure arises from the difference in size between the body part and the product, as well as the elastic properties of the material. Designed to exert the medically prescribed level of pressure on the limb, compression products help prevent diseases, alleviate symptoms, and support recovery.\n<br><br>\nThe compression level of a product\u2014that is, the amount of pressure it applies to the limb\u2014determines its areas of use. There are four main compression levels: I (mild), II (medium), III (strong), and IV (very strong).
